Vogue 100: A Century of Style
Vogue 100: A Century of Style was located at the National Portrait Gallery, London.
As you may know, following my visit to the Chanel: Mademoiselle Privé exhibition me and my friends decided to attend the Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition in 2016. I'm afraid I do not have any photographs from inside the exhibition as we was not allowed to take any, however this is more of a style guide rather than a report of the exhibition itself.
As students and teens we paid £7 for our tickets which I do not think is bad at all and we had a good day out and got slammed up this time with new outfits especially for the exhibition (yes, we felt like being extra).
Here are my two best friends, Maria (on the left, wearing an aztec style patterned knee length dress with flared arms), and Morgan (in the middle, wearing a cream rollneck jumper with a black faux fur coat, with a gold chain). We all share the passion for style and fashion and Maria came to the previous exhibition with me so I wanted to bring them along on this next experience with me.
I decided to be different myself as this time I actually got the chance to plan my outfit and wasn't spontaneous like the Chanel exhibition. I get my style inspiration usually from Instagram and Tumblr but in present times I try to be more creative in my head. I wore pinstripe wide leg trousers from Asos, with my white slim rollneck t shirt from Zara, black suede bomber jacker from Pull&Bear with my all white Adidas Stan Smiths. I have always preferred black and white outfits but recently have started to push the boat out adding colour to my style!
Here's us having fun in London post-Vogue 100 exhibition. Overall it was an interesting exhibition and I would have loved to have got some photographs of it. If however, I was to choose between Chanel and Vogue I would definitely go with Chanel, it really engaged the audience in the exhibition and grasped them in my opinion.
