Disney in The West End Summer Pop-Up
Hey People !
So, as I’ve posted on social media, I’ve been super busy doing overtime at work as well as having 4 deadlines for uni, and I finally submitted number 4 the other day for my first year 😍! So I have a few weeks off now where I can catch up with sleep, blogging and can now stop stress eating also.
I wanted to start a post about something I really enjoyed recently in London after uni. Usually me and Kelsey will have a little explore every now and then when we now stuff is going on in London, and I saw on Facebook at there was a pop-up dedicated to Disney West End costumes.. not so much fashion I know, but still a subcategory of it!
If you know me you’ll know I love Disney, perhaps a bit too much for someone who’s about to turn 21 in the next few months lol.
Here is the outside of the pop-up mini exhibition:
It wasn’t far from uni and it was rather small but it still fulfilled its purpose to take my mind off of my deadlines. There was costumes from The Lion King in the pictures below;
Here is Simba's Mask:
Here is Zazu's costume, my personal favourite:
Here is Mufasa's costume:
Rafiki's costume is below:
I use this really cool app by Instagram called Hyperlase, if you're interested in creating intriguing time-lapse videos you should definitely give it a go, here is a Hyperlase of all of the costumes:
Here is a Hyperlase of the Zebra costume:
There was also the lamp from Aladdin which me and Kelsey couldn't help but to give a rub and make a wish, can you guess what I wished for in the comments of this post?
I went to see Aladdin with my mum in January as a Christmas present and it was so good, definitely if you have time go and see it before it is replaced!
Finally they had a really cool Photo Booth of Frozen to promote the Frozen show which is replacing Lion King and Aladdin next year (in Addition to Mary Poppins) which printed out photos for free, as well as making GIF's which you could email to yourself, a great way to make memories with friends and family! It took me and Kelsey a good few goes to create one we actually both liked.
Thank you for reading my post on the Disney West-End Pop up experience, I believe it is on for a few more weeks so you should definitely give it a go if you're around London and near the area!
Also have you seen the new trailer for Lady and the Tramp!? I am excited I can't lie.
Thanks for reading!
