Fenty x Puma Fall Ready-to-Wear 2016

I haven't been more obsessed with a clothing line until Rihanna debut her Fenty x Puma Fall Ready-to-Wear collection back in February at the beginning of the year. If most of you follow Rihanna as a fan of her music or as a fan of her ever-changing style then you will know about her growth in recent years in the fashion industry. This was Fenty x Puma's first fashion show, and it was all planned out to the finest detail. The scenery was dark with bright likes on the runway, big mirrors so the audience could see all angles of the models, and smoke. Rihanna decided to stick to mainly blacks, greys and whites which I think matched the set perfectly to give us an edgy show, also these colours are more popular in Fall months so it is perfect for when these were released (a few days ago in fact). In an interview the fashion award winner told us she was inspired by researching Japanese culture fashion, this inspiration in addition to Rihanna's unique eye resulted in one of my favourite collections. As you may well know the Fenty collection was dropped on Tuesday the 6th September 2016, and Rihanna visited stores and pop-up stores in America to 'shop with' her fans, making appreances and giving back to her fans. The majority of her collection has already sold out, I have my eyes on the Fenty lace-up velvet bag that is 'coming soon', but I also have ordered a Terry cotton choker as part of my outfit for an exciting trip coming up.

I love the way she has incorperated the whole sport side of puma into her collection, for example she used the idea of sweatbands and invented a new way for them to be worn, as a choker or neck accessory. She also made trainer style heels, in ankle and thigh-high versions. Most of her clothing includes lace-up parts on them, this symbolises shoe laces in the brand and it is also a new stylish trait she has added to this collection which a lot of people look out for. In many of the models their hair is styled with white hair product which is slicked back, women are wearing dark lipstick to also symbolise darkness in Fall to complement the clothing being worn by the models.

I really wish Rihanna released more of the menswear she showed in the fashion show on the 6th! Although my Fenty collection is coming along nicely, I have my grey Fur Slides which I love, I can't wait to wear them when I go on holiday and on the flight in my trip, they're sooo comfy, and then I have my Terry cotton choker on it's way. I am also saving for when Rihanna restocked her Creepers because I am in need of a pair.
