The Fenty x Puma Bow Creeper Sandal

The Fenty x Puma bow creeper was released yesterday in the UK in pale pink, cream and natural brown colourways. This is a major 'Rihmix' of the classic creeper, and an even more evolutionary development from the original Puma suede trainer which was popular many seasons ago. Rihanna reinvented the suede trainer by enforcing a creeper soul as well as adding her name and the Fenty logo on the creeper-trainers. They were first released in suede material, then a waxed plastic, then velvet, and finally leather. Here is a tweet posted by the verified Puma Twitter account:

The bow creeper sandals are a soft lather material and have extra-long laces so that people can wrap the laces tightly around their ankles and lower legs rather than around the top of the foot like the original creepers. The idea she has placed a bow on the toe part of the shoe shoes she is creating synergy between the rest of her clothing from her collection and making sure they all conform to the SS17's 'Spring' feel with the use of the light colours and feminine bows. They are very interesting versions of the creeper and I am excited to see how people will wear them and what outfits they will piece together with the creepers. 

The next Fenty x Puma by Rihanna drop is the 'jelly slides', a plastic jelly-shoe version of the fur slides. It is coming in a blacky-grey colour, pale pink and baby blue colourways. They are set to be released on the 25th May 2017.

These are a very retro trending version of the fur slides, and will be much more practical when going on holiday as they won't be ruined by the sand, we will see on May the 25th.
