Visual Merchandising 09/09/19 - 12/09/19

Hi Guys,

Here is my weekly visual update. Sorry I haven't posted this week, I have basically worked since Saturday (and was recovering from a mad night out on Monday from Friday) and when I have been getting home from my visual shifts I have been conking out.

On Tuesday, I done a few mannequin updates on Women's Pyjamas, updating it from Disney to Friends and Disney and I sorted out the Ariana Grande Pyjamas as someone had chucked on Little Mermaid which didn't go..

Me and my friend Ellie also re-worked the workout wall as it looked a little disjointed so we merchandised it and made it look more visually pleasing.

On Wednesday we needed to get ready for the menswear move the following day (today) so we needed to change the Playstation fixture back to a trend fixture, and change mannequins accordingly. As it was changing the next day it wasn't many adjustments, but just adjustments to make sure we was keeping to standards.

So I updated the first trend mannequin in mens and changed it from Playstation to Tuesdays current trend.

I then had to change a few jackets which wasn't in the atrium wall and sort out a formal mannequin.

I then went to ground floor and updated home as it looked quite messy, and I merchandised home just over a week ago so knew what the style guide was and what the vibe of it was. Some stock had sold out so I just re-worked like-for-like products into the feature wall.

As it was nearly time to go home I saw there was new Disney accessories so I made the high levels more interesting on the Accessories department.

And now we get to today! Menswear move, 4am start. I am very tired but it was worth it as I got to merchandise the trend fixtures and dress the mannequins to the style guide. This menswear trend is called 'Harlem Dandy'.

"This trend focusses on layering and collegiate styles for an easy to wear, casual vibe"

Also we launched our 'Primark 50' womenswear collection this week which has Primark branded products which is cool and interesting as well as our halloween makeup which my friend launched Sunday. I'm actually really excited to be doing visual through Halloween and Christmas especially seeing all of the stock come in!
