Halloween 2019

The highest peak of spooky season is among us.. Happy Halloween people!
I just wanted my first post back to be on Halloween as I love writing posts on seasonal events. As you know, I went to Paris last week, and I am currently working on that post.. but I have done so much it will take me a while to get the post out to you. This is because I am working on a few things at the moment, my blog, as well as my upcoming digital magazine, Insane Style Magazine, catching up with my uni work as I have two assignments pending, and working at Primark in the cash office still and visual merchandising, AND trying to travel the world bit by bit while I have the time before I start working full time. So bare with me about my consistency lol!
Halloween and Beauty
Unless you have been hiding away with all your lights off the past few years so no one will knock at your door, you must be aware that makeup on Halloween is on the rise. Instead of buying expensive costumes, people are investing in makeup and prosthetics and are practicing looks early on in the season to perfect halloween looks. It is also popular to 'rent' services of makeup artists so they do not need to worry about taking the time out and practising Halloween looks. Dazed Beauty always posts interesting and cool Halloween makeup looks, I'm going to show you some of my favourites.

Contact lenses are also popular to create a more realistic halloween costume, as seen in television shows, films and even live action horror mazes which I am going to speak about later in the post.
I've been obsessed with this look since I first saw it last year, it's a shame I have uni and am working over halloween as I would have loved to done this and paired it with a neon boiler-suit so it looked like I had been in a nuclear attack.. maybe next year!
These mermaid looks are also pretty amazing! I love the uprise of Cosplay on Halloween.
Home and Pumpkin Picking
I am obsessed with how popular Halloween has been getting and it really makes autumn feel, well autumnal! I just love the colours, the orangey brown palettes really get me excited for the seasons and events in Autumn, including Halloween and firework night, getting us ready for our Winter Wardrobes.
This year I finally went pumpkin picking, and it was so fun, although we was only there about 45 minutes, I can 100% see the appeal in it.
We went to the Pumpkin patch in Hoo, Rochester, here is the address below, it was a really lovely farm and full of different varieties of Pumpkins:

In addition with the Pumpkins and home decorations, Stacey Solomon has been trending with her home 'fall' decorations which everyone is in love with, see in her Instagram post below.
I definitely will be taking inspiration from this for my house when I move out!
Brands and Retailers
I have been in a Coach exclusive chat where they send me clips and links to exclusive Halloween content which is so cool, here is one of the videos they sent to me.
Fast fashion retailers have also picked up on the Halloween vibes, retailers like Boohoo(Man also), Asos, Primark and H&M all offer Halloween products and campaigns, also beauty brands like BeautyBay and Mac have pushed Halloween makeup to gain profit and recognition from the footfall of Halloween makeup trends.

Another retailer for Halloween costumes, makeup and pumpkin's are supermarkets, like Tesco, Sainsbury's and Asda, who offer their own clothing collections, F&F, TU and George. Keep an eye out for these in the future.
Disneyland
As you would have seen plastered all over my social media, I went to Disneyland while I was in Paris, I just had to lol. I have always wanted to go around Halloween as well, as I have seen it over social media the past few years and it just looks incredible and I can tell you it really was and I definitely will be returning in the fall in years to come! I will be speaking more about my time in Disneyland and Paris in another post I am currently working on. Meanwhile, here are some spooky photos by Disneyland Paris.
